Harvest and Half Term

Posted in Uncategorized

With the majority of the harvest safely gathered in, this Sunday gives us an opportunity to share our thanksgiving to God with our local farming community. Firstly we will have a Harvest service at 1115 in Armstrong Hall and then another special service at 1830 in the Thropton Music Centre, including music by the Wannie Liners. All are welcome to both services, and to the tea and cakes which will be served in Armstrong Hall afterwards.

Today also marked the last Kids Club and Midway for this Half Term, as it is a training day for our local schools next Friday. It’s never too late for your child to join us!

This week saw the worlds of Midway and Create and Chat collide, with Kirstine showing some of our enthusiastic middle schoolers how they can make hats for charity.
