OK – so we know it is Mothering Sunday but this year we had a Kids Club Mother’s Special!!
21 Mums came to spend the hour with their children. They had a look at what we do, joined in with a craft activity and best of all had a coffee and a bit of cake!
We sang our “Superhero” song, made hand prints, and saw Captain Jim. Best of all we met Captain Jim’s Mum !!! She lives in Amble and is a Fisher woman. She was a bit worried about Captain Jim because he is a pirate and they steal treasure.
On Mothering Sunday we found out that Captain Jim has found the “Best Treasure” because he had found out that Jesus love him and he decided to live like Jesus wanted him to!
Maybe we can look for Jesus and live like He wants us to as well?
