One of the great traditions of the past few years has been for the congregations of Armstrong Hall and the United Reformed Church in Rothbury to join together for a service on the last Sunday of the year.
Latterly the service has taken place in the Coquetdale Music Centre (the former Thropton URC church), with the leading of worship alternating between the two churches.
It’s great to have so many people gathered together for worship, and shows the strength of relationship between us both…as does the tea, coffee, cake and biscuits!
Long may it continue!
