At the beginning of the school year each year, Kids Club and Midway take a trek up the hill to Cartington Castle for the annual barbecue.
First of all the older children play rounders whilst the younger ones have a treasure hunt.
This is followed by some well deserved hot food, and finishes with some songs around the big fire to entertain the accompanying families.
This year we were rewarded with a beautiful warm September day with a clear sky giving way to a brilliant sunset.
Remember, it’s never too late for your child to join Kids Club or Midway. Just send them along – were sure they’ll have fun!
